"Pathways"

“Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” (Psalm 25:4-5)

A number of weeks ago I watched the movie faith like potatoes, the movie was based off the life story of Angus Buchan. In one scene in the movie the family was forced to move to Zulu Africa due the increase in violence toward the white African farmers.  In this scene Angus and his wife look at the new land they now owned. It was a land that was un-kept and overgrown. Angus could see something that was not there as he began to forge a path by the sweat of his brow and by faith his dream and vision became reality.

In the Journey of life we all come to these moments when we know something needs to change, we know there is more to life than where we are currently.  In those times we hesitate, we struggle with the unknown, fear settles in, followed by disillusionment and frustrations.

Today’s thought is simple where ever you may find yourself ask the Lord to quiet your anxious thoughts and begin to ask God for a dream. Begin to look at what others can’t see; the unknown, the un-kept, the overgrown and believe God for what would seem as the impossible for you and your family. You may need to be patient, overcome adversity, and forge a new path. Remembering that God is for you and not against you, remembering His plans are to prosper and not harm you, and that He is with you every day will bring you through.  You may never know; what the Lord may have you develop may influence generations to come.

Be Blessed…..
