So what does the Bible say about all of this? If we profess to know and follow Christ we should seek direction there.
“For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Mt. 7:2) “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” (Luke 6:37) “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.” (Romans 2:1) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
The Bible goes on and on with passages on how we should conduct ourselves and treat one another.
I conclude with this thought, I thank God that he has forgiven me and that I no longer need to live under judgment. I can have freedom, in Christ the guilt of sin has been removed. Now as I have freely received this grace I must now freely give it away. When I feel the urge to scream, “Off With His Head”. I need to remember to be careful how I judge because what I sow, I will reap. Since I was freely given grace and mercy I should also freely give it. Thank God when it is all said and done there is one judge who will righteously judge his creation. “The day will surely come when God, by Jesus Christ, will judge every one’s secret life.” (Romans 2:16)
