It’s Not Popular!

Have you ever been put in a place where you had to stand for your faith and it felt awkward or you maybe you even got some backlash? I had an interesting situation while at my part-time job this week. It really made me think. In my processing the re-occurring thought was “Lord, did I honor you with my response?” In my devotion today my text was Daniel 6:11-27 entitled “Hungry Lions”. When I was put on the spot I had to take a stand and thank the Lord I was able to. Similarly, Daniel had to take a stand, and though not popular he stood for the Lord. My thought for this week is simply this, take a stand for the Lord in your circle of influence. King Darius acknowledged Daniels God when it was all said and done. What will God do through you?
