"Family Time"

What an exciting year it is starting out to be. We ended the year in KidsLIFE teaching on the Birth of Christ our Savior the “Anointed One”. We had some powerful services as the Spirit of the Lord ministered to those in attendance. As we have kicked off the New Year the Lord has led us to focus on faith. In the last few weeks, we have studied the “Woman at the Well”, “Jesus Goes to Church”, “The Healing of the Nobleman’s Son” and “The Healing of the Blind Man”. Each one of these stories found in the scriptures have powerful LIFE Lessons. Have you ever asked yourself what is faith? If you ask the average person you receive a plethora of answers. Defined, it means to believe and trust, the belief in truth. As a child I was a very friendly boy, very similar to my older son Jeremiah. I was always very open with people. I remember as a child believing and trusting things I learned at school or watched on TV. If a teacher or adult said it, it had to be true. Children are a like a big sponge absorbing information as they grow and mature. Let’s fill their life with Truth, things that will help them have a faith that they can they trust and believe. As Parents, speak truth to your children, teach them how to pray and read God’s Word. Teach them to live out what they learn. Teach them also not to be cynical, but to believe and trust only that which is true. Spend quality time together studying with your children. You will all learn something new when you do it as a family.

“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified)

“God’s unique gift entrusted to you.”
